- Old Quarter, Hanoi
This is the liveliest place in Hanoi comprising of 36 winding streets packed with shops selling all kinds of goods. A unique feature of this place is that each street is named for its primary good or service or trades traditionally practiced by the original artisan guilds in the 13th century. - Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Hanoi

- One Pillar Pagoda, Hanoi
This structure was built in honor of the birth of a son to the heirless Emperor Ly Thai Tong after he dreamt of receiving a son from the Buddhist goddess of mercy and compassion. People come here to pray for fertility and wellbeing with great faith.

- Temple of Literature(Van Mieu), Hanoi
This is the most sacred place for the disciples of Confucius. This structure is among the few remaining architectural examples of the 11th Century and is the site of the country’s first university in 1076.

- Halong Bay, Hanoi
This place has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is renowned for its spectacular scenery and limestone grottos and caves. The bay is scattered with over 3000 tiny islands mystically emerging out of the pea green waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. This is one of the highlights of tourism in Vietnam.
